The Wilmington East Rotary Club is a nonprofit organization of community members who share the ideals of service, friendship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.
Founded in 1963 by a group of community members who saw the need for a local organization to support individuals experiencing homelessness, the Wilmington East Rotary Club has grown into a thriving nonprofit that serves hundreds of people each year through a variety of projects.
Interested in learning more? Join us for a meeting! You can find us on the first and third Monday evenings of the month at 6pm at Bluewater Grill, 4 Marina St, Wrightsville Beach overlooking the beautiful Intra-coastal waterway. Few clubs have a more spectacular location to meet!

We are proud to partner with a variety of local organizations to provide service. From diaper banks to check presentations to park cleanups to blood drives, Wilmington East Rotary Club has numerous service opportunities that you can get involved with.
Supporting Ukrainian Families Here in Wilmington
The Rotary Club of Wilmington East is proud to support families displaced by the crisis in Ukraine, including two mothers, Sviatlana and Natasha, who arrived in Wilmington with their children after being forced to leave their husbands behind. Carrying only what they could fit in suitcases, they are now working hard to rebuild their lives—learning English, securing employment, and creating a sense of stability for their families.
While they have made meaningful progress, the journey toward independence takes time. Many are still underemployed, face transportation challenges, and continue to adjust to a new environment. Our mission is to stand alongside them every step of the way—providing ongoing support as they work toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
